Attached is the report from the Hearings Panel of the International from the protest that was filed from our June election. The report will show that all protests against any candidates were either dismissed or resolved at the hearing. However, due to deficiencies in the handling of the ballots by the election judges, it was determined that we re-run the election. Let it to be known that the election judges did not intentionally do anything wrong nor were they advised to by the local. The election judges were appointed by the executive board and voted on by the membership to serve as judges of election.They are all long term members and currently retirees in good standing with the local, all of whom have been involved in elections or judges before. We would like to thank the election judges for their time and efforts to do their best to deliver accurate results to the membership.
